The Palmadona Popular Race It is a sporting event held in Palma on the occasion of International Women's Day (March 8). This sporting event aims to make visible the role of women in sport and promote values such as equality, health and citizen participation.
The race takes place in the sa Riera park, where the start and finish of the circuit are located. The event is open to participants of all ages and levels, combining sport, coexistence and a family atmosphere. In addition to the popular race, there are also organized children's races with adapted distances, which allows the participation of boys and girls.
Organized by the Palma Municipal Sports Institute (IME), the Palmadona Popular Race has established itself as a prominent activity within the program of 8M events in Palma, bringing together thousands of participants each year in a sporting and protest day.
