The medieval market of Santa Ponça, celebrates the festivities of King Jaume I and are a historical recreation that transports attendees to medieval times. The streets of Santa Ponça are filled with life with medieval markets, parades, live music and activities for all ages. One of the culminating moments is the representation of the landing of Jaime I on the beach of Santa Ponça, followed by a symbolic battle between Christians and Moors. The celebration ends with a spectacular fireworks castle that illuminates the Mallorcan night.
