At Cala d’Or are celebrated Festivities of Santa Maria del Mar, one of the most notable events of the summer on the coast of Mallorca. For several days, the municipality offers an extensive program of activities that combines seafaring tradition, culture, music and proposals for the whole family.

The festivities include festivals, concerts, shows, children's activities, gastronomic events and one of its most emblematic traditions: the maritime procession with decorated boats. The program culminates with a great fireworks show, making this celebration one of the most anticipated in the Santanyí festive calendar.
