The insucrated rosary is a necklace made up of chocolates, candies and sweets, with a large piece called a paten that imitates a rosary. It is a tradition that godparents, grandparents and parents give it to children on All Saints' Day so that they can wear it around their necks. In the past it was made with typical sweets such as panellets or panecillos de muerte. This custom comes from the Middle Ages, when bread was placed on graves on All Saints' Day. Today, it can be found in pastry shops and ovens adapted to current tastes.
