In Alcúdia, the tradition of singing albadas or serenades to young people on Virgins Day, October 20 is maintained. A group of local musicians gather to interpret these songs through the streets of the town. Young women who receive serenade often invite musicians to eat bunyols and take Mistela. This custom, of medieval origin, remains alive since at least the 50s of the twentieth century and the serenades last to the morning in the morning.
