The Feast of Saint Anthony in Alcúdia it is one of the most emblematic celebrations in Mallorca, where tradition, fire and devotion come together every January 17. This event, dedicated to the patron saint of animals, includes activities that stand out for their authenticity and cultural roots.

The day begins with the blessing of animals in the Plaza de la Constitución, an event eagerly awaited by locals and visitors who come with their pets. At night, the magic of fire takes center stage with the lighting of bonfires in the streets of the town. These bonfires, known as “foguerons”, are the epicenter of a night full of popular songs, “gloses” and Mallorcan gastronomy, where sobrasada and other typical products are the kings of the party.

In addition, processions and religious events are held in honor of Sant Antoni, combining respect for tradition with a unique festive atmosphere.
