The Procession of the Andratx Meeting It is one of the most emblematic celebrations of Holy Week in Mallorca and an outstanding manifestation of Balearic culture. This traditional festival is celebrated in the center of the municipality, with its epicenter in the parish of Santa María.

The celebration is characterized by its symbolic ritual: two processions walk through the streets separately, one with the image of the Risen Jesus and the other with the Virgin Mary. The culminating moment comes with the meeting between both images, accompanied by traditional bows and music, generating a solemn and very participatory atmosphere.

One of the most unique elements is the presence of the three Marys, young women dressed in light tunics and carrying flowers, a deep-rooted tradition that provides its own identity to this popular celebration. After the procession, it is common to enjoy a family atmosphere with typical products of local gastronomy.

The Encounter Procession combines tradition, devotion and popular culture, becoming an authentic experience for both residents and visitors.
