At Vilafranca de Bonany One more year the Melon Festival and Fair, one of the most deeply rooted traditional festivals in the municipality and an event in which this fruit becomes the main protagonist. For several days, the streets host activities, samples of local products and proposals related to agriculture and popular culture.

The program brings together exhibitions of agricultural machinery, crafts, livestock and local trade, as well as music and activities for the whole family. Among the most notable proposals are the competitions for the largest and quality melon, free tastings and the traditional Festa de les Llanternes, an opportunity to discover the importance of the melon in the tradition of Vilafranca.
