The Quarteró Festival It is celebrated every year on the last Sunday of January at the Finca Es Quarteró in Bunyol. for, recovering a tradition that had disappeared for a long time. Thanks to the work of the Bunyola Dance School, this event was organized again about 20 years ago, becoming a key event for lovers of Mallorcan customs and culture.
The name “Quarteró” refers to an ancient measure of wine that agricultural workers received as a reward at the end of the harvest. In honor of this tradition, the festival includes a typical lunch accompanied by live music and traditional Mallorcan dances.
Additionally, attendees can participate in a cultural route around the town and enjoy activities that highlight the historical and social wealth of Bunyola.
