SONMO It is the abbreviation of Son Moragues, a mountain estate over 500 years old with olive groves, orchards and ancestral forests in the heart of the Sierra de Tramuntana de Mallorca, World Heritage for UNESCO.

For 15 years they have been working to regenerate the farm are blackberries and return to this environment the vitality of past times, promoting those crops that for centuries gave name to moragues as local agricultural power, such as oil, olive or Valldemossa variety tomato.

Before and now

Where decades ago firewood and coal were extracted, now they extract biomass and distil plants.
With the raw materials with which tiles and tiles occurred, today produce dishes, bottles or salads.
With the ash with which the white clothing laundry was used, they now produce enamels that apply to their ceramics.
And with the stones that were previously calcined to make lime, today they manufacture useful and timeless objects.
Logic is the same now as before, that is, to take advantage of what the Earth offers them, transforming it to create a range of unique products and adapted to current times.

The farm follows sustainable practices and cultivates its products in stone rates without pesticides or synthesis fertilizers. In addition, they process everything in their optimal state of natural maturation, moving away from the methods of industrial agriculture.
