DESCRIPTION
Nacra Winery is a family wine project located in Inca, Mallorca, led by Hipólito Medrano and agronomist Cecilia Carámbula. With a firm commitment to the organic viticulture and respect for the territory, this winery works with indigenous varieties that for years were in danger: the Malvasía and the Turn. Its objective: to recover and value these ancestral strains thanks to a rigorous, sustainable and passionate process.
Nacra Winery allows reservations for visits and performs cates de vi in its new architectural installations created by Marès. It has its own production, a list of wines made with single-varietal Malvasía and Giró, and is ideal for groups looking for an authentic and intimate oenological experience.
The new facilities of Nacra Winery, located in Inca, at the foot of Puig de Santa Magdalena, they are the work of Marès architecture, built under criteria of bioconstruction and energy efficiency. They are integrated into the landscape of its vineyards, on the Can Corró estate, cultivated with soils of clayey and silty texture, with an abundance of natural stone, and with a Mediterranean climate marked by high insolation, dry summers and moderate rainfall.
Visitors can arrange guided tours in which all the steps of the process are explained: from the organic vineyard to the cellar where the wines are made. They are also made cates to discover the monovarietal wines, such as the white Malvasía, fresh, floral, with notes of tropical fruits and balanced acidity, and the black Giró, with body, soft tannins and aromas of red fruits and spices. The new structure allows you to enjoy the architecture and the landscape during the visit, with views of the Mallorcan terroir that enrich the experience.
