He riu of Santa Eulalia is the only river in the Balearic Islands, a singularity of barely 17 kilometers in length that rises in the west of Ibiza, just on the opposite slope to our municipality. The layout of the land where the various sources that give rise to it are located caused the current to flow not towards the nearest coast but towards the east, thus giving birth to the river. Known by various names for a large part of its journey, it is not until its lower section that it popularly acquires its name: river of Santa Eulalia.
